Why I wanted to be part of the curling tour:
It has always been an ambition to curl in Canada and tour the country, this opportunity would combine both wishes. It would also be a great opportunity to meet fellow like-minded curlers from all over Scotland. I have met many who have completed tours and all recommend going on one.
I have attended many functions in Perth when touring teams are here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and comradery among the touring teams. I would like to be a part of that.
It would also be a great opportunity to broaden my contacts within the curling family, and also my knowledge of the game, useful for both playing and Umpiring.
