Curling Achievements:
Coming from a long line of non-curlers – a tradition that some say I am maintaining – I would say my greatest achievement is staying upright on the ice. Any success has been limited due to my lack of ambition, dedication and an absence of talent. Why I wanted to be part of the curling tour: I played a friendly against the last incoming Canadian tour and now having more time on my hands and more regular curling under my belt since I retired, I wanted the chance to experience playing in Canada. Having visited Canada three times previously but always outwith the curling season, this is my chance to feel cold and challenged in another country!
Hobbies/Interests:
Other than curling and in no particular order – dog walking; taking holidays; supporting Elgin City FC (someone has to); going to concerts of bands from the 70’s (and there are fewer of them around these days) and eating and drinking…
