Why I wanted to be part of the curling tour:
As a keen curler, being part of a Strathcona Cup tour would be a highlight of my curling career thus far. It is something I have wanted to do most of my life. When the 2018 Canadian tour came to Scotland, I had the great experience of curling against them and being heavily involved in their entertainment in the evening. Although, I have curled in many competitions, playing a big part in club curling is where my heart lies along with the social scene that comes with it. I feel that the Strathcona Cup would be perfect because it embodies the ideals of club curling- sportsmanship, friendship and lasting memories.
