Why I wanted to be part of the curling tour:
Having been born and raised in Canada before emigrating to Scotland and becoming a citizen at the age of 30, I’ve never actually curled in Canada. But figuring it was in my blood anyway, friends drafted me into our local club and I was soon devoted to the Roaring Game. I’ve been an avid curler ever since, and at the beginning of Covid, started the Daily Curling Puzzle, a Facebook group of 16,000 mad curlers devoted to strategy and tactics. Having never curled in Canada, I’m keen to take on the Canadians and experience the game across the East.
