Why I wanted to be part of the curling tour:
The RCCC curling tour of Canada is regarded as the ultimate curling experience for many curlers. Never having been on tour and never having visited Canada this was a unique opportunity to combine both. Having hosted the incoming Canadian Tourists in Edinburgh as Lord Provost and experience the comradery of the Strathcona Cup I was focussed on being part of the 2023 tour.
