Why I wanted to be part of the curling tour:

I have looked forward for many years to have the opportunity to take on this ultimate curling experience. Touring Canada as part of the Scottish team must be on every Scottish curler’s bucket list. Now being in the position with the time available I decided to put myself forward to join the tour.
The aim of the tour is to win the cup and bring it home to Scotland, but curling’s roots are in the fellowship of sport and that all are equal on and off the rink. I am exceptionally proud to be part of this tour, to continue this ethos which has always been the biggest part of the Strathcona Cup competition.
The experience of travelling across Canada with likeminded teammates, meeting many fellow curlers in friendly competition and having fun will be one to savour.

Hobbies/Interests:

Other than curling I enjoy skiing and motorcycling. I enjoy driving and maintaining my 50+ year-old Jaguar. Gardening occupies some of my time, better regarded as a chore than a hobby.
