Status: Partner, Marjorie, mad keen curler who is part of Ladies 2022 USA tour.  Two Children from previous marriage Katie 25, keen curler who has been lucky enough to represent country on four occasions and Fraser 23, more academic than sporty

• Currently Secretary of Kilsyth Curling club, previously held position of Treasurer for 6 years 2014 to 2022 and Past President 2010 and 2011

Curling Achievements:

• All club , province and area competitions won at some point over the last 30 years been a member of Kilsyth Curling Club
• Scottish Rink Championship – winner 2000
• Scottish Province Championship– winner in 2012
• Scottish Double Rink – winner in 2010, 2013 and 2016
• Scottish Senior Men’s – runner up in 2017 and 2020
• Scottish Senior Mixed – runner up in 2020

Why I wanted to be part of the curling tour:

It’s always been long term ambition to play in Canada. I’ve never good enough to be selected to represent country and play in Canada, so being part of this fantastic tour achieves this ambition….!!
Also there not much else to do in dark wet January days in Cumbernauld now that am retired…!!

Hobbies/Interests:

Apart from playing this fantastic sport, am an avid arm chair sports fan.  Spring and summer months the garden is where you will find me most days. Also the owner to two mad as hatters Labrador dogs which gets me out walking the beautiful Scottish countryside
