On the 13th February the tourists met at Hamilton Ice Rink to hear what progress had been made by the tour committee on various aspects.
Opening Address
Bill Duncan, Ex President of the RCCC and Winning Non-Playing Tour Captain 2013 gave a welcoming speech and gave the 2023 tourists an idea of the complexity and some of the tasks and expectations that lay ahead for the tourists. Bill Wish the tourists well and handed the meeting to the incoming Tour Captain.
Non-Playing Tour Captain
Mike Ferguson, who featured as a tour Captain on the 2013 tour, has been selected by the RCCC to the lead the Tour. Mike welcomed the tourists and thanked them for making the effort to attend the meeting.
Tour Captains and Supporting Committee
The three tour captain were introduced by Mike. Each in turn the introduced their selected Vice Captain, Secretary and Treasurer.
Tour Logo
Several badge or Logo’s were tabled, however it was the one to the right here which came out on top.
Tour Itinerary
A list of provisional tour destinations were given, though this did not included specific curling clubs, that will be available in time.
